- About Me:
- I was born and raised in Oklahoma. I joined the Air Force right after high school and served 11 years; I just got out in October. I currently live in Washington, D.C., but I'll be moving back to Oklahoma this summer... time to come home. I got into filmmaking a couple of years ago, though all I've really done are a bunch of retirement ceremonies, weddings... crap like that. I spend most of my time working on learning special effects programs so that when I finally do make something, it'll look good. I'm not much of a writer... I suppose I'm more interested in directing/cinematography. So if any of you writers out there are looking for someone to collaborate with...
My filmmaking philosophy comes straight from Robert Rodriguez... fast, cheap and in control. I try to do everything myself, when possible. I don't spend a lot of money, except on gear. Essentially, when I get started on a project, I only budget for food and beer. I try to do as much as I can with absolutely nothing. If it works, great. If not, well... do what you gotta do.
Anyways, I can't wait to come back home and start working on some cool stuff. I hope to meet and work with all of you at some point!
