...well, it was a tough day weather wise to be filming in Oklahoma. YES, WE DO MAKE FILMS IN OKLAHOMA ! Today was the downtown scene filmed in a small community just outside of OKC. Period clothing, horses, buggies, extras, the wind, the heat, and the timing on all these factors made the day a challenge. All things considered, I think it went very well. Diane Kern did a great job of directing and staying organized. Randy and Marcie P. gave wistful looks. Herman defended his mercantile store well. The chattery women, Becky W., Luyda M., and the other Marcie did their jobs well. Antonio and Louis kept sound and clapboard for Ms Di. And Beth, well she managed to grease me up again.......I think she loves it, seems like her way of getting me back for being ornery. And the extras, I think they did their jobs well also. We are all very thankful to them for showing up and completeing our background, which is a much more important job than one would think. I think Ms. Di is going to make a thorough check of all the film she has in the can right now, to see if we need any re-takes or have any gaps to fill. She will let us know later this week, get them overwith if needed. Then we will get a break in the action til around the first part of September when filming will start at a nice period mansion that is in a small-ish town west of OKC. Filming at the mansion should complete this Indie feature film, then it will be off to post production. Well, stay with me til the end, and I will bring you more as the camera roles...in HD of course. CHOW.
