Vacant Era Film Festival
Featuring more than 40 local and international films, the inaugural Vacant Era Film Festival presents independent filmmakers with the opportunity to exhibit and promote their work in a non-competitive environment. From OU Professor Emeritus Ned Hockman's 1962 thriller Stark Fear to the 2008 Seattle short film Emerald City, screenings of these diverse films will be held in the Sooner Theatre, though events will take place throughout Norman. In addition, music from local favorites Galapagos, Mama Sweet, Resident Funk, and Hush Hush Commotion can be heard every night at Coach's Brew House. For a full schedule, please visit their website.
