... it's been a fairly busy 2009 so far, with alot of opportunities coming this fall in the film area. Started the year in March making a tv commercial for River Spirit Casino in Tulsa that paid very well. Then made an intriguing short "Faith Healer" with Adam Hirsch. Shot a campy little short film in Tulsa called "Donald Jenkins Funeral" by Chris Galegar. And yes, I got to play the part of "Ricky Dale" in the Indie feature film "Bikini Vampire Babes" right here in Oklahoma City, shot by Ted West. In June, I got to play Ft. Worth man # 12 in a major production (SAG film) "The Killer Inside Me" here in OKC. I got to walk along in front of Casey Affeck as we strolled the streets of Ft. Worth in the 1950's ... it was a blast ! I'm already lined up to play a lead in a "1930's Gangster" short film to shoot this fall here in OKC. Also a small but quality part in "Shutter Mind" (1960's father) which should finish up filming soon. Two SAG films are lining up to kick off this fall in Guthrie, and I've been lucky enough to audition for a small part in one of them already. That would cap the year off very well if I could land a part in one of those films. In the meantime, I'm getting very excited about the Indie feature film I worked last summer for Diane Kern, it's called "BLOOM". Post production is coming along well and it should show up somewhere in the spring of 2010. Oh, I almost forgot. On July 22nd I was feature in an article in the Daily Oklahoman (my Edmond section) on a story about my acting career. Nice article with pics ... my thanks goes out to John Williams who interviewed me. That's all for now ... let's go shoot some movies !
